Appointments to see the Doctor, Nurse or Health Care Assistant can be made in person, by telephone or online. We now offer a **NEW** online facility for appointment booking. [see below]
An appointment is for one person only. If you are unable to attend please cancel the appointment as soon as possible so it can be offered to someone else. Urgent cases will be given priority, especially sick babies and children. Please be patient should this happen.
We aim to offer a personal and efficient service by offering both pre-bookable appointment sessions and “same day access” sessions. It would be appreciated if ‘non working’ patients could leave early morning and late appointments for people at work who have difficulty coming during normal working hours.
Appointments are usually for ten minutes unless it is for minor Surgery or a medical examination, which takes longer. Please inform the Receptionist if this is the case.
Our Receptionists have been trained to ask you for details of why you are attending so that they can help direct you to the most appropriate professional or service. It is to ensure that your time is not wasted and that the Doctors are seeing patients who most need them.
